Prepare yourself Entering the workforce
A creative simulation game that guides teenagers through the transition from student to working professional life: finding a job, starting a business, managing money, buying a car and a house, getting married and having children, and taking responsibility for each choice.
A “virtual” city setting with infrastructure and facilities such as universities, banks, shopping malls, food courts, supermarkets, hospitals, clinics, police stations, courthouses, city hall, country clubs, transportation, insurance institutions, financial trading, and more. The game starts at age 15, and participants can pursue their dreams—getting the best education, graduating with a professional degree, preparing resumes for interviews, finding suitable jobs, taking care of their personal needs, buying their first car, buying a house, adapting to a constantly changing work environment, striving for promotion, considering adventures as a young entrepreneur, and climbing the ladder to success.
Life is neither a script nor predictable. Participants have an equal opportunity to make free-willed choices about how they wish to live. Every 90 minutes marks the passing of two years. They will gradually age, some even faster, depending on how they take care of their needs – food, clothing, healthcare, and their choices regarding work, leisure, risk, and the consequences in life; in real life, they may encounter layoffs, unemployment, inflation, family responsibilities, health problems, lawsuits, corruption, and even the possibility of death.
